The Tattoos that make me.

When we first moved to downtown San Jose we were supposed to have a bet. The person with the best tattoo flash would get their pic on our flyers and passed around all of San Jose area. We never really got down to that idea but I was able to finish this tattoo flash. A few months went by and I wasn't able to get it tattooed fast enough. I was really happy to have it and wanted it in my portfolio. So I did what I often do. I gave it away for free. This tattoo came out great and the client was stoked to have a a great free tattoo. Come check us out!

The best shop in San Jose for Friday the 13th Tattoos.

This year and now every year we're starting off with our Friday The 13th client appreciation party. This will be a time to say thank you to our customers and get cool tattoos at the same time.

We have a number of custom designs that will be hand painted just for this one day event. We start at 11am and will be going until we finish the last client. The clients can choose from a number of special designs and relax while they wait for their time to  get tattooed by us.

Today I had the opportunity to tattoo a really nice woman face with Aztec headdress. Headdresses were not worn by ‘your average Aztec’. They were generally only worn by members of the ruling class, warriors, priests and - by extension - gods and goddesses. Essentially, the Aztec ‘élite’ wanted to ‘dress to impress’, to show (off) their status to the rest of society, and to show their connections with the world of the sacred.

The Aztec were an amazing civilization that had a great culture and interesting beliefs and ways. Since I've been in a tattoo shop I haven't had the chance to tattoo any Aztec patterns. Now that I've got my own style of tattooing I would love to be able to do more Aztec tattoos. Being in the South Bay and specifically in San Jose I'm sure that I'll get a lil more people wanting these type of tattoos now that they'll see what my abilities are with tattooing. Come by to see us.
